An exhibit of some of the things
that we learn about
on our Annual
Florida Keys Field Trip.

Nearly every year over the last decade, Stone Junior High Students have made a short five hour trip down to the largest continental coral reef area in North America.

We stay at with the good folks at

Marine Resource
Development
Foundation

The non-profit foundation operates MARINE LAB , a five acre facility on Key Largo Sound, right across the bay from John Pennekamp State Park.

They have student laboratories, a floating auditorium, dormitories and a cafeteria as well as full time staff and six open water fishermen style dive boats. Marine Resources Development Foundation also oversees the operation of both a underwater habitat as well as a diving submersible called the Man in the Sea project.

Take theto the Florida Keys!
