Robo Gophers won the ultimate award, the Director's Award!

Well, the Stone Robo Gophers did it again.

On Saturday, January 09, 2010, the Stone Robo Gophers competed in the Cape View Florida Lego League (FLL) State Regional Qualifying Tournament at Cape View Elementary in Cape Canaveral!

Stone Robo Gophers won the ultimate award,
the Director's Award!

The Director's Award is the most prestigious award that a team can win. It celebrates the ultimate success of the
FIRST mission and FLL Core Values. This award is for teams who passionately support a cause. For FLL, the Director's Award winners passionately inspire and motivate others about the excitement of science and technology, solving problems, working as a team, and demonstrating respect and Gracious Professionalism.

This is such an honor to win this award; it is a very exciting experience for the team!
Our team had the overall highest scores in all categories and had a fun, excellent day of competing and playing around in a very cold, sleet full day.

The Robo Gophers made Stone proud! Check out their new trophy in the front office!
