Stone Researchers Prominent in State Awards!

The past week the 58th Florida State Science and Engineering Fair was held in Lakeland. The state science fair is the largest academic competition in Florida. The competition was intense, with almost 900 of the top science students from all over Florida competing for prizes and awards. Students also participated in field trips and a dance/mixer. The student mixer was held at the Museum of Science and Industry in Tampa.
 
At this level in the science fair process, the students come from all around the state of Florida and all participants have received a 1st place at their regional science fair.

Stone science research students did extremely well, winning one 1st place award, four 2nd place awards, four 3rd place awards, one honorable mention and three recognition awards as well as several special awards.     Rich Regan, Stone Science Research Director
