Study of Chaos Leads to National Recognition

Almas A. is a Discovery Young Scientist Challenge finalist. This is a very competitive national level competition and is considered by some to be the "Nobel Prize" for Middle School. She will be going to Washington, D.C. in October with the other 39 finalists. This is a very prestigious event with first place being $15,000. Some of you may recall that we had a Discovery Young Scientist Challenge 1st place winner in the past - the only one from Florida!

Her project title was: Universal Law for the Periodic Windows within Chaos in the Logistic Model for Biological Populations
