Last Tournament for Lego Robotics!

T he Stone Robo Gophers and the Stone Princess Gophers competed in their last tournament of the season, The Rassma TAZ BOT FLL Tournament at Poinciana Elementary in Boynton Beach!

Both teams did an awesome job!! They worked so hard, kept on trying, never gave up, and had fun. Words can not explain how proud I am of them. They represented Stone in such a positive and proud way!!!! GOPHER POWER is definitely felt at these tournaments!

The
Stone Robo Gophers won the Core Values Award. This award is for Inspiration, Teamwork, and Gracious Professionalism. It celebrates a team that is empowered by their FLL experience and displays extraordinary enthusiasm and spirit. They are able to accomplish more together than they could as individuals through shared goals, strong communication, effective problem solving and excellent time management. They also, show each other and other teams respect at all times. They recognize that both friendly competition and mutual gain are possible, on and off the playing field. This award means more to me than the others because it represents what type of person the students are and I feel like I have made a difference in their lives.

If you have or see any of the team members, please congratulate them on their hard work and win!!!!
