Ms. Carolyn Buckner
Ms. Buckner received both her bachelor's and master's degrees at the University of North Texas in Denton, Texas. She earned her undergraduate degree in Elementary Education with a minor in mathematics in 1980 and her master's degree in Counseling and Student Services with a minor in Special Education in 1986.

Ms. Buckner began her career in education as a teacher. She taught elementary school for one year before moving to middle school to teach mathematics, which she taught for the next eight years. In 1988 Ms. Buckner became a school counselor and now has twenty years experience working with both middle school and high school level students. In the past twenty years Ms. Buckner has traveled the country and has been employed as a school counselor in three states including Texas, California, and Florida. She came to Stone Middle School in February 2004 where she has been the counselor for all 8th graders and the guidance department chairperson. Ms. Buckner is currently the counselor for all students with last names beginning with A-L.

Ms. Rebecca Siver
Ms. Siver received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia in December 1999. She went on to receive her master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from the Mercer University School of Medicine in June 2002.

While her degree is in Marriage and Family Therapy, she has focused her energy on working with adolescents. Prior to coming to Florida, she worked with the methodist Children's Home of Mississippi as the Mental Health Therapist for adolescent boys in two separate group homes. Upon moving to Florida, Ms. Siver became certified as a School Counselor and has been at Stone Middle School for the past four years. While previously the counselor for all 7th grade students, she is currently the counselor for all students with last names beginning with M-Z.
