Stone M.S Student
State Orchestra Honor!

Joey Hultgren has been selected for the 2003 All-State Orchestra!

Joey is one of only 36 seventh and eighth grade violin players selected to be in this group from the whole state of Florida!!!

Joey was also 1 of the only 2 from Brevard County who made it. Joey will attend the Music Educators National Conference for Florida in January to perform in this ensemble.

Congratulations to Joey, his family, and Ms. Rock!

Stone Begins Technology Fundraiser

Buy the Chick-fil-A 2003 Calendar
for only $5 and get about $40 worth of free food coupons each month.

Tues. November 18th begins our schoolwide technology fundraiser. Our primary goal this year is to raise enough money to purchase an LCD projector for teachers to use for technology instruction. Additional funds raised will be used to update software and hardware campus-wide.

Following 9/11 last year, all of our annual technology funds were taken away from our school budget to make up for the state budget shortfall. We are in many ways a full year behind where we should have been technology-wise.

Coupons are honored at over 1000 Chick-fil-A's throughout Eastern/Central US including the three in Brevard County and one in Indian River County.

With the new "Cow Channel" Calendar, you can flip through a cow-studded lineup of television shows...from the gritty police drama "Steakout" to the real life courtroom show critics are mooing about, "Judge Bessie."

Get one for home, one for work and several for friends this holiday season!

For every five Chick-fil-A* calendars students sell, the seller will have shot at a grand prize drawing provided by one of Stone M.S. business partners Connecting Point of Melbourne, an Apple Specialist Dealership.
*Melbourne/Palm Bay Stores are also a Stone M.S. business partner

The Grand Prize!

many other prizes to be listed soon...

The Apple iPod has won numerous awards recently, and is rated as the most advanced MP3 player available. The 5 GB model will hold about 130 CD's worth of music and will load one entire CD in 10 seconds off of your computer. The battery will last long enough for 10 continuous hours of music play!

iPods will work on any computer (Windows or Macintosh) w/a firewire port (IEEE 1394, or i.LINK).
